The minimum requirement to become PGT is to have a master’s degree in relevant field along with B.Ed degree.
If a candidate has pursued Bachelor’s degree in a different field or B.Ed in Science, the candidate is still eligible for PGT History.

However, candidates are requested to check the detailed eligibility criteria of the concerned institute.

B.Ed is usually of two years duration. However, some universities and colleges also offer one-year B.Ed courses to students. It consists of four semesters, wherein the final semester is usually reserved for training and practical experience in teaching in any school.The fees of the two years course was around 80000 rupees.The Institute conducts B. Ed. two year full time Course. The Institute is permanently affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, recognized by Government of Maharashtra and NCTE (Delhi).

The eligibility criteria for admission in B.Sc B.Ed at IASE is the student must pass the PTET exam with decent marks.PTET is must for most of the courses at IASE.

Admission to the Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE) Deemed University's B.Ed programme is not very difficult . You just need to qualify eligiblity criteria ( which is based on merit and entrance exam scores . The entrance exam for B.Ed admission is the Pre Teacher Education Test (PTET) .
