Library Assistants provide clerical support for Library staff and students or customer service to patrons. Exams to become a government librarian in India: In order to be a qualified librarian the students need to appear for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test UGC NET State Eligibility Test (SET), and State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) exams.
