If you want to know the Merit List Weightage, then it is not sure what policy we get after 3 years of the B.Sc. you will be do. Right now, the Department Entrance Test, and Graduation matters rather than the benefits in terms of Marks in Merit, this B.Sc can surely benefit you in Entrance as you have already studied the subject with utmost sincerity.

Hello Yash,
I can understand your angst and apprehension. But I am afraid eligibility for doing M Tech is graduation in engineering. As your qualification remains B.Sc. You will not be allowed to do your M Tech in agriculture. However, you can do your M.Sc. In agriculture. Its as good a qualification as M.Tech as far as job prospects go.
Best wishes to you.
