If you do DNS then you will get 1 year's Diploma certificate after which you can pursue B.Sc in the same via distance mode. This degree will not be a regular degree. When you do DNS course you have two semesters of 6 month each. After the completion of these semesters, you have to join the ship as a Trainee Deck Cadet with a training period of 18 months which will include your 3rd, 4th and 5th semesters. Once you complete your training period on board ship, you have to do modular advance courses as well as a 4-month competency course for a foreign going ship. Once you have done all of this, then you have to appear for 6 written exams and 3 orals which will be conducted by DG Shipping of India. Once you pass the same then you will get the certificate of competency, which will help you to join a ship as the second mate. Along with this, you have to give 3 written exams which will be conducted by the university for the B.Sc degree certificate. Fees of this course is around 2.5- 4.5 lakh rupees, it depends from institute to institute.
On the completion of B.Sc in nautical science, you will get a regular degree unlike DNS. However, after the completion of this course you have to go on ship for 12 months as a Trainee Deck Cadet. After the completion of training period, you have to appear for 3 oral exams, to be conducted by the Director General of Shipping. If all goes well then you will get the certificate of competency and you will then be eligible to join the ship as 2nd officer. The fees for this course is around 10-15 lakhs.

The eligibility criteria for MSc nursing is: -
The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.2. The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of B.ScNursing /BSc Hons Nursing/Post Basic B.sc Nursing with a minimum of55% aggregate marks.
3. The candidate should have undergone Bsc. Nursing/B.sc Hons. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc Nursing in an institution which is recognized byIndian Nursing Council.
4. Minimum one-year work experience after Basic B.Sc Nursing.
5. Minimum one-year work experience prior to after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing
6. Candidates shall be medically fit.
7. 5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST candidates may be given.
8. Selection of the candidates shall be based on the merit of the entrance examination.
The selection to M.Sc. Nursing Course shall be based on the merit of the candidate and for the determination of merit through Entrance Test.

(Hons. ) Chemistry (3Years Course after 10+2) with 50% or above marks in aggregate both main and subsidiary (integrated) and 50% or above marks in Chemistry from Delhi University or any other University whose examination is recognised as equivalent to University of Delhi and fulfil other conditions of eligibility. or

Mandatory Course : B.Sc. Candidate must have completed B.Sc. (Hons. )/ B.Sc. with the required percentage in Science subjects and the subject in which admission is sought must be Hons. subject at B.Sc. (Hons. ) level/a subject studied in all the three years at graduation level. Final year appearing candidate may also apply on provisional basis. Admission Process
