Hi,
You can opt for M.Sc or if in case you are interested in opting jobs in business/administration, you can opt for MBA. However, every college/university has its own admission criteria so you can choose the course accordingly.

As a responsible college ICAT would not advice any student to drop their current degree program for any reason because the student can complete the degree and come for Masters to ICAT. For your question "Can I quit B.Tech" the answer is "Yes", you are a free individual and you can take any decision which might be right for your current situation. Candidate should have a minimum pass percentage of 50% marks in 12th standard. The institution may conduct entrance examination within the colleges. However, some colleges also offer direct admission based on the 12th standard. The eligibility criteria for this course differs from college to college. If you have a Diploma degree then you can take admission in B.Tech 2nd year directly through lateral entry. It is a better option for you to do B.Tech than B.Sc because you have completed your Diploma.

Please refer below some information for admission in Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi.
Candidate's Eligibility:
i) Passed in English, Maths & Physics at 10+2 level with minimum 55% Aggregate Marks in Maths & Physics
ii) Candidates can also opt for B.Sc (Aviation) degree from Chatrapati Sahu Ji Maharaj University-Kanpur being conducted simultaneously with CPL Course. Duration of this course will be 03 years.

After B.Sc in maths, you can pursue M.Sc in Physics. If you have studied physics as allied in UG, M.Sc in psychology, applied physics, applied psychology, and agricultural statistics are best options.
