B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering

The School of Computer Science Engineering and Technology BTech curriculum offers includes Minors, Honours, Open Electives, Audit courses, two internships of 8 and 16 weeks, and one year internship in the final year, besides opportunities to participate in competitions, hackathons, clubs, and societies, and in project-based experiential learning programs.

During the course, students need to choose an open elective. Courses such as Mobile Journalism, Start-ups and Copyright Law are among the most popular of the Electives. 

A full-time BTech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course is offered by the Faculty of Engineering and Technology. The total seat intake for this course is 360. Apart from the regular BTech (CSE) course, the university also offers CSE in other two sub-specialisations. As per the placement statistics of NIE Mysore, B.Tech CSE have better placements over ECE. In year 2022, 130 students of CSE get placed with 171 offers against 103 students and 151 offers of ECE.

B.Tech ECE is best at UIET Chandigarh for placement point of view.
