Yes, you can get BTech thorough Lateral Entry in CSE. Many colleges do offer lateral Entry and many colleges don't. Just research into which college you would like to go and get admitted and accordingly fill out their form. Some also conduct entrance exam and some colleges take direct admission. There are so many languages that you will not be able to keep all in your hand if you will totally dependent on college you have to practice all your own. And for IT is same as CS nearly in all colleges.

These are nearly same in terms of syllabus the only difference which you can see in job profile. CS engineers are mostly found in coding jobs whether it is front end or back end and IT engineers are found in data management sector.

Hello Shambhavi,
As per my knowledge, colleges in India have eligibility criteria for b tech that is the student should be passed with PCM subjects. If not, then they are not eligible to take admission in B.Tech. But surely, you can do B.Tech in biotechnology.

the choice RV College of Engineering is very nice as the institute is autonomous, funded by the state government. These days, emphasis is on CSE, Civil and Mech, but it also depends upon your choice. If you are somebody who wants to sit in an AC office then of course CSE is for you but if you are somebody who doesn't mind working in the field then Civil and Mech. Are very good options.
