You may get seat in IIT madras but may be not in good branch. As of your Rank you can get seats in other IITs and in very good branch also. Hope for the best and be patience till the end. All the best.

Hi Ram, To get admission in M.Sc. Physics in LPU, the Eligibility criteria is that candidate must have minimum 55% aggregate marks in B.Sc. Science or B.Tech. Online admissions are already open and one can proceed though their website www.lpu.in
One more important point for LPU, they are also providing Scholarship on the tuition fee if a candidates qualify their test called LPU NEST. This is a online objective type test. Based on performance in test any one can score scholarship worth 50% or 40% or 30% of tuition fee per semester. Yes, you can pursue for Master programmes in physics after completion of your graduation. Go for IIT JAM Entrance exams to get admission in IITs and IISc. IIT JAM (Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. Vellore Institute of Technology Masters Entrance Examination VITMEE is conducted by University for admission to M.Tech, M.Sc and MCA programs offered at Eight Constituent Schools of the University. Applicants can fill the VITMEE Admission form from March 10, 2018 till May 24, 2018. The application form can be obtained from online mode, i.e. by visiting the official website of the VIT University while the offline application forms can be availed from select post offices across several states.

All candidates who qualify for B.Tech (Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering) degree courses have to submit a Physical Fitness Certificate from Registered Medical Practitioner. The candidate must be physically fit and should meet the medical requirements as specified by DGS guidelines. Candidates with Disability (DA) are not eligible for admission to all marine and related courses. Failure to meet the medical standards would disqualify a candidate for admission. In case of an appeal, the same will be referred to a medical board appointed by the Indian Maritime University. The decision of such medical board shall be final.
