For getting good jobs, your B.Tech degree is sufficient. But, if you are interested in doing PGDM, then this is also a good option and there are also more opportunities after this.

Hi Sravya,
Almost every business school in USA requires applicants to have atleast 2 years work experience. So, the first thing after you complete your B.Tech is to get a job and do well in your work place, demonstrate leadership and good managerial skills. Academically, you must do well too but if you are an average student, don't worry much as universities in US evaluate on an overall basis and not just on one factor. You must also take the GMAT or GRE and TOEFL or IELTS.

It's up to you because it's a competitive world. You won't get jobs if you aren't better than others! Already, many engineers are there. You will have to be the best. You can opt for engineering.
Good luck.

BBA is more better option if you are looking for pursuing MBA and wants to make your career in the field of Business. B.Tech as the name suggests in purely technical and if you have studied of 11th and 12th in your HSC, its a better option. As per current scenario, B.Tech is more of a preferred option.
