In terms of future & market requirement, newer technologies will come so I would suggest you to go with computer science engineering as will will have a wide scope. But if you wish to get a job in Dubai and Germany, you can plan about pursuing automobile or mechanical engineering.

You can become IT project Manager with experience. You will start you career as a software developer or Tester after B.Tech CSE. Once you have experience and become proficient in software engineering, you may move up in the ladder as Team Lead, Project Leader and then Project Manager (PM). Even PM are of three categories Junior, Middle and Senior based on experience and number and type of projects executed and led. After PM you may progress to Program Manger and then on leadership role in IT companies. There are many specializations in which you can do your M.Tech after completing your B.Tech in civil engineering like:
1. Environmental engineering.
2. Structural engineering with specialization in offshore structures.
3. Pipeline engineering.
4. Computational fluid dynamics.
5. Health safety and environment engineering.
My personal choice is structural engineering as it has very good career prospects and job opportunities. To pursue this specialization, you can go for NIT - Calicut or UPES - Dehradun. It is having a pen paper test being held on 12th August, 2016 for on the spot admissions, which you can check on their website. Both of these

Hello Prabhath,
It totally depends on your field of interest. If you are no more interested in technical field, then please proceed with MBA or else you can choose M.Tech
A small suggestion from my side : In reality, post graduate technical courses are not given that much importance in India.
If you are interested in doing Masters in technical program, try to do it abroad. You get exposed to the real world and you will be paid more as well .
Also, if you wish to study MBA in India, then I would suggest you to crack CAT and get into IIM's.

In order to have better business learning and start with higher salary jobs, it is better to do MBA after few years of experience. But once you do job, you may not have time to study for competitive MBA entrance examinations. Therefore, if you have will and determination to study during job, then only you may opt for this option else you may do MBA immediately after B.Tech.

Yes, mechanical engineering graduates are eligible to pursue M.Des in product design. Some of the best institutes, where you should seek for admission are:
1. Industrial Design Center (IDC).
2. IIT – Bombay.
3. IDDC.
4. IIT-Delhi.
5. MIT Institute of Design.
6. NID – Ahmedabad.
7. Symbiosis.
8. UPES School of Design Studies and
9. NIT - Rourkela.
All are good and provide good exposure, faculty and placements.
