No, VIT Vellore's BTech programme is considered affordable. For fees ranging from INR 4.9 Lacs to INR 7.8 lakh, the institute offers students a BTech program. Additionally, the college provides students with a four-year, full-time BTech degree. Once all selection rounds have been completed, students must pay the course cost to secure their seats. A candidate's admittance will be cancelled if they are unable to pay the money within the allotted period.

For the academic year 2023, COEP's B.Tech programme application date has already passed. Applications for the following year (2024) would probably open in the spring or early summer, as the academic year normally starts in July or August.

Admissions to Dr. C.V. Raman University's BTech course might be both entrance  and merit-based. Candidates can appear for the CUET UG/ JEE Mains entrance exam in order to participate in the admission process. Candidates are shortlisted for the course based on their performance in the entrance exam. Moreover, the university also gives the admissions on the basis of merit, which is evaluated on the basis of candidates' achieved scores in their Class 12/higher senior secondary or equivalent.

The admission process for BTech courses in both the universities—KK University—and DVRU Bihar is almost similar. Because the basic eligibility requirement to get admission into the BTech courses is that candidates must complete their Class 12 from Science stream with a minimum aggregate of 45% (KK University) to 50% (DVRU Bihar).

Moreover, for the selection process, both universities consider the candidates' achieved scores in their last qualifying examination. However, the university might consider the scores of entrance exams too.

The total tuition fee for BTech courses at Dr. C.V. Raman University Bihar is INR 3 lakh. On the other hand, the total tuition fee for BTech at  Patna Sahib College of Engineering and Technology is INR 3.6 lakh. Therefore, it is clear that DVRU Bihar is more affordable for undergraduate engineering courses.
However, the fee structure can be only one component that candidates consider while comparing institutes, but several factors can be taken into account while choosing the best university/college, such as placement packages, seats, ranking of that particular institute, affiliation, accreditation, etc.
