The B.Sc. Mathematics at Quantum University (Roorkee) is academically solid with a modern, theory-plus-practical curriculum covering topics like linear algebra, numerical methods, modelling, and computational skills. Faculty are generally supportive and helpful, and the campus infrastructure is good. However, UG placements specifically for B.Sc. Maths are limited, so many students pursue government exams, higher studies, or skill development instead of direct corporate jobs. It's good for strong math foundations but you must be proactive about skills and careers.

Dear reader,
As a LPU student this is my perspective towards asked question.
Even while schools like SASTRA University, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, and Thapar University are well-known for their biotechnology placements, Lovely Professional University (LPU) has a clear edge thanks to its ICAR-aligned research focus and NAAC A+ certification. Through a strong, international recruitment network, LPU's biotechnology department often places graduates in leading pharmaceutical and healthcare companies. It also has top-notch labs and important industry partnerships.
For more information kindly contact their concerned department.

No, the B.Tech Lateral Entry course at Quantum University is not free. The tuition fees for B.Tech programs typically range from approximately ₹1,20,000 to ₹1,50,000 per year, excluding hostel and other charges. While not free, the university does offer scholarship opportunities based on merit and entrance exam scores, as well as EMI facilities to manage payments.

Basically, you have three ways to get in. The most common route is the Q-CARE exam, which is their own entrance test; it's definitely worth taking because it's the primary way they hand out scholarships. If you don't want to take another test, they also accept JEE Main or CUET scores. For those who performed really well in high school, there's a direct admission option based on your Class 12 marks. Once you fill out the online form and get a provisional offer, you just have to verify your documents and pay the fee to lock in your seat.

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology at MSRUAS (Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences) is considered a good option for B.Tech, offering strong academic programs, experienced faculty, and research opportunities. It is a private university, distinct from the autonomous MSRIT, but part of the same reputed educational group. It offers above-average placements with decent packages for engineering branches.
