Yes, LNCT Bhopal offers lateral entry in second year in all the branches of BTech. The eligibility criteria involve at least 45% in BSc and Class 12 pass out with Mathematics as a subject. The alternate requirement is to have at least 45% in engineering diploma.

All the colleges together have 90 seats for BTech at LNCT Bhopal. The eligibility criteria to take admission in BTech Mechanical Engineering includes Class 12 with Physics + Mathematics + (Chemistry/Computer Science/Biology) with a qualified rank in JEE Main. The admission is taken through MP DTE Counselling, college level counselling and lateral entry in second year.

The college accepts admission in BTech in three ways namely, MP DTE Counselling, college level counselling and lateral entry in second year. For MP DTE Counselling, JEE Main rank is mandatory. College level counselling takes place only if seats are left vacant after MP DTE Counselling. Here also, preference is given to candidate with JEE Main rank. For lateral entry, minimum 45% in BSc and Class 12 with Mathematics is required.

Yes, candidate with at least 45% in Class 12 (PCM) are eligible to take admission in BTech at LNCT Bhopal. Candidates must have a valid rank in JEE Main. Candidate must participate in MP DTE Counselling for seat allotment. The college takes admission through college level counselling as well. Here also, preference is given to candidate with JEE Main rank.

If you belong to the General AI category, the JEE Main Round 5 closing ranks for BTech admission ranged between 24247 and 77123. Among all the branches, Computer Science and Engineering turned out to be the most competitive for admission, while Food Engineering and Technology was the least competitive in Round 5 for admission.

For admission in BTech (Electronics and Communication Engineering), a minimum of 45% is required for general category at LNCT Bhopal. For reserved categories and MP Domicile candidates, only 40% is required. A valid JEE Main rank is also mandatory for admission in BTech.

At this point, only JEE Main cutoff is available for BTech CSE at Vikram Sarabhai Institute Of Engineering & Technology. This cutoff stood at 763264 in first round of JEE Main in academic year 2026.

Vikram Sarabhai Institute Of Engineering & Technology has not mentioned any processing charges which will be deducted from BTech fees before refund. Generally, institutes charge 10% of total refunded amount in processing charges which are deducted before refunds are credited to a student.

Vikram Sarabhai Institute Of Engineering & Technology BTech application fees is INR 1,000 for academic year 2026. Candidates who apply through management quota will need to pay this fees to VSIET for admission into those seats.

No, Vikram Sarabhai Institute Of Engineering & Technology BTech eligibility criteria mentions only PCM stream as acceptable. This eligibility criteria requires candidates study Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in order to be eligible for BTech course. However, candidates in PCMB stream will be eligible for BTech at VSIET.
