You might have the chance. If you are interested, you can choose bioengineering or biotechnology courses, for which you don't need to be good at computers or maths, or physics.

Direct admission on 12th marks alone is generally NOT possible for government colleges or reputed universities.

Admission Process: Register, appear for JEE Main, then participate in counseling (HSTES/JoSAA).

Private colleges may offer some direct/management quota admissions, but basic eligibility (12th marks, JEE Main appearance) still applies.

Admission to SASTRA for Aerospace Engineering is determined by a combination of Class 12 and JEE Mains scores. In JEE Mains, the general category cutoffs have recently ranged from 7,000 to 11,000 ranks. The university's B.Tech rank list for this year was made public in mid-June, and online counselling is proceeding without a hitch.

Admission to B.Tech programs at IIT Roorkee requires candidates to first clear JEE Main, and then qualify JEE Advanced through JoSAA counselling.

Candidates must fulfill at least one of the following conditions, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects (in the year they first appeared in the Class XII exam):

1. A minimum of 75% aggregate marks in Class XII board exams. For SC, ST, and PwD candidates, the minimum is 65%.

2. Being among the top 20 percentile of successful candidates in their respective Class XII board exam. 

Educational Requirement: Pass in 10+2 (Intermediate) with at least 45% aggregate, and Physics and Mathematics are mandatory subjects.

70% of seats are filled through AP EAPCET ranks via online counseling by APSCHE.

30% of seats fall under the B-Category (management quota)—based on merit in qualifying exam, in line with APSCHE guidelines .

College Reputation

It's one of the top biotech colleges in Delhi under GGSIPU, known for good faculty and research labs. Students often go for higher studies or work in pharma, R&D, or biotech startups.

 Fees

You'll pay around 60,000 to 80,000 Rupee per year. Hostel and other charges are extra depending on your choices.

Expected Package

Average placements are around 3–4 LPA. Some students get 6–8 LPA, especially in pharma or data-heavy biotech roles.

With 95.5% in IPE and 90 percentile in JEE Mains, your combined score is strong enough for SASTRA's ECE cutoff in recent years.

Past admissions show students with slightly lower marks have still got ECE.

You're not guaranteed, but chances are high if you apply in both streams.
