IIITDM Kancheepuram JEE Main cutoff 2025 was concluded with the release of the final round cutoff list for all India categories.

Students who belong to the General AI category need to secure a rank of at least 73115 or below to secure admission at this institute. On the other hand, for the OBC AI quota, a rank of 89950 or below will increase the chances of enrolment. Please remember that other categories, quotas, etc., will have different cutoffs accordingly.

No, IIITDM Kancheepuram does not have Home State quota for admission to the BTech course specialisations. Like all the other central government-funded Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), admission is completely based on the All India Rank (AIR) in JEE Main, and all seats are filled through the JoSAA counselling process.

Yes, LPU offers lateral entry into BTech programs for Diploma holders, allowing direct second-year admission. Candidates need a three-year Diploma after 10th or two-year after 10+2 (non-medical) with at least 60% aggregate marks, or equivalent like B.Sc. non-medical. Admission involves LPUNEST, though high scorers (70%+ in diploma) may qualify directly; multiple specializations like CSE, ECE, and mechanical are available for 2026 intake. This flexible option suits working professionals or Diploma graduates seeking quality engineering education efficiently.

Both CMRIT Bangalore and REVA University are good options for BTech in Electrical Engineering. Both have similar ratings. Reviews suggest to pick REVA University for good infrastructure and CMRIT for its VTU affiliation. Students can check the reviews for both institutes to decide.

NMIT, Bangalore BTech CSE branch is considered the best. This is because of the placement options and the packages. These are generally higher than other BTech branches of the institute. BTech CSE has a higher demand among the companies recruiting.
