With an EWS rank of 111966 in JEE Main, it's tough to get CSE in pinnacle NITs or IIITs.
But you still have possibilities in some lower-ranked NITs, GFTIs, or country colleges.
You can attempt for colleges like:
NIT Arunachal Pradesh
NIT Mizoram
GGU Bilaspur
Assam University
State government colleges through counselling
You may get IT or different similar branches instead of middle CSE.
Use EWS quota and strive spot rounds to increase your probabilities.

Yes, an EWS certificate can potentially help you get admission to B.Tech ECE at IIEST. With an EWS rank of 6918 and 96.7 percentile in JEE Mains, you have a good chance of getting into IIEST Shibpur, especially for ECE, though it may depend on the specific cutoffs for that year. With a CRL rank of 218,510 in JEE Main, admission to a top-tier government engineering college for Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is unlikely, but not impossible. Some NITs and IIITs do accept students with ranks beyond 1 Lacs for certain branches. You may have a chance at newer NITs, IIITs, or CFTIs (Centrally Funded Technical Institutes). Additionally, consider exploring state-level engineering colleges and private institutions.

In case of 60% in 12 th and overall fee of less than 5 lakhs, visit some of the private institutes like Galgotias University and Noida Institute of engineering and technology (NIET). Although some of the B.Tech specializations in these colleges may cost more than 5 lakhs, they do come up with options (in most cases, especially in some branches that are within your means. Some other B.Tech courses are also available in this fee range in Techno India University (Kolkata) and Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology (Chennai).
