It is not mandatory for you to give an entrance exam for getting admission to BTech degree courses in any of the specializations. There are a lot of popular engineering colleges in India that will admit you on the basis of your performance in the Class 12 board examination, given you have scored really good marks and are able to qualify for the merit cutoff released by the college.

The minimum eligibility for admission to BTech courses is normally around 50 to 60% marks in PCM subjects

Kalvium's B.Tech Computer Science Engineering (CSE) provides an industry-oriented curriculum with real-world software development expertise. It lays more emphasis on paid internships in the second year, hands-on education, and collaboration with established universities. While it gives real-world exposure and employment readiness, traditional tier-1 colleges like IITs, NITs, or IIITs could provide academic validity and research facilities.

Having an Andhra Pradesh EAMCET 2024 rank of 45,807 and coming under the category of BC-B, it will be tough to get admission to a B.Tech in CSE in premium engineering colleges of Andhra Pradesh since CSE is extremely competitive with greater cutoff ranks.

Both Koneru Lakshmaiah University (KLU) and Aditya Engineering College, Surampalem are known for B.Tech courses, but KLU tends to be ranked higher because of improved placement records and industry connections. KLU provides good academics, research, and placements with an average package of INR 5-6 LPA, whereas Aditya offers low-cost education with an average package of INR 3-4 LPA. KLU has a broader industry presence with names such as Amazon, TCS, and Infosys, while Aditya has a strong local industry tie-up. If placements and infrastructure take precedence, opt for KLU; if it is cost-cutting, Aditya can be a suitable choice.
