Major departments like Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering hold 115 seats each within the VNIT Nagpur BTech structure. Newer specialised branches like Mathematics and Computing have around 30 seats available. Civil, Chemical, and Electrical branches also have 115 seats allocated to them.

The structural design of the VNIT Nagpur BTech path focuses on a semester-based learning system. Students attend classes, complete lab practicals, and work on industrial projects. The entire degree takes four academic years to finish properly. 

For VNIT Nagpur BTech admission, you need at least 75% aggregate marks in your Class 12 exams (or equivalent) for the General. For SC/ST/PwD candidates, the minimum requirement is 65%. Candidates scoring in the top 20 percentile of their respective board are also eligible.

Completing a capstone project is compulsory for every student in the VNIT Nagpur BTech curriculum. These research projects usually happen during the final year of study. Students work in groups under the guidance of senior professors. Many students collaborate with local industries to solve actual working problems. 

The rank needed for admission at VIT Bhopal would depend on the category and chosen branch. 

For the General AI category, the round 1 cutoff ranged from 50000 to 100000. Hence, the highest rank acceptable was 100000. Please know that other categories, rounds, etc., will have different cutoffs.  

VIT Bhopal VITEEE cutoff 2026 was released for the first round for admission to the BTech course and its various specialisations. 

For the General AI category, the round 1 cutoff ranged from 50000 to 100000, wherein BTech CSE was the most competitive branch for admission. For this branch, the round 1 cutoff was 50000. Hence, students with a rank below 50000  would have an easier chance of admission. 

To be considered eligible for admission to the above-mentioned course, students have to attempt the VITEEE entrance exam and appear in the counselling process. 

To satisfy the eligibility criteria for the MIT School of Artificial Intelligence BTech, core subjects are required. Students must pass Class 12th with physics and mathematics. For the third subject, they choose from fourteen options like chemistry or computer science. Biology, electronics, and business studies are also valid choices.

Candidates with minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics in Class 12 and minimum 50% in Mathematics are eligible for admission in BTech at Kengeri campus of Christ University.
