As a CSE student, I would say Lovely Professional University is a good option for B.Tech in CSE, especially if you are focused on placements and industry exposure.

The CSE department here has a large number of labs, coding platforms, and collaborations with companies for specialised programs. Students regularly participate in hackathons, workshops, and training programs which help in building practical skills.

For B.Tech in CSE at Lovely Professional University, the tuition fee is usually around ₹1.2–1.4 Lacs per semester depending on the scholarship you get through LPUNEST or other criteria. So the total tuition fee for the 4-year programme comes to roughly ₹9–11 lakh.

If you choose hostel accommodation, the cost is separate and can be around ₹70,000–₹1,50,000 per year depending on the room type and facilities. Many CSE students also get scholarships through LPUNEST or based on their academic performance, which can reduce the overall fee.

LPU is best for B.Tech in CSE. Admission to the B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) programme at LPU generally requires meeting the minimum eligibility criteria, which usually includes a 12th-grade score of around 60% or above in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. With 50–55%, direct admission to the regular B.Tech programme may not be possible. However, this does not mean your dream of becoming a software engineer is unattainable. There are several alternative pathways you can consider. First, you could opt for a Diploma in Computer Science or IT at LPU or another recognised institute. After completing the Diploma wi
