If you have a lot of interest in the Chemical Engineering and want to get specialised research knowledge you can take up an MTech degree in Chemical Engineering or related fields like Biochemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Environmental Engineering etc. or an MS degree abroad.
You can also switch to an MBA degree if you wish to transition into managerial roles within the tech field. Also PhD in Chemical Engineering could be a good fit for those interested in research and development and academia.

The BTech Chemical Engineering syllabus is different for every college on the basis of their syllabus guidelines and unique coursework approach. The syllabus usually has core subject modules, specialised program electives, lab classes, project work and internships.
When it comes to the mandatory core subjects there is no such scope for customization because of the foundational knowledge they provide but you can choose the elective subjects on the basis of your interests and passions allowing some room for customization.
