Cannot assure you much about other Departments, but CSE and AERO are the above par branches here. Cultural fests and other events are like 3/10 rating. Talking about academics, yes you can take it as a good place, as lectures will help u a lot with the subjects and marks (talking about CSE and AERO). If u have a low rank or coming from management quota, ACSCE is a fair choice as it is growing really fast.
