Hi,
Yes if you have done a banking course, you can apply for bank vacancies if any. Moreover, if you want to get into government banks, you need to apply and appear for IBPS clerical/PO exams. If selected, you will be allotted a bank as per your scores.

I don't think its a good idea for you to opt for banking or any field which requires calculations and numbers. Identify which field you are good at and choose accordingly.

BCA is a job oriented technical graduation degree. If your target is job in banking sector then BBA or B.Com are better options in comparison to BCA.
Graduation is the minimum requirement for the banking exams especially by the Institute of Banking Personnel Services.
IBPS conducts the banking exams for 20 Public Sector Banks. But to appear for the exams like IBPS Clerical and IBPS Bank PO, you should have graduation degree. Therefore I will recommend you to pursue graduation.
Course could be any of your choice. Once you have finished graduation, you can apply for the Clerical or Bank PO job depending on the marks obtained in graduation.

Hi Vikas,
Finance, business administration, accounting or economics are the preferred fields for a career in the banking domain. Math skills in addition to strong oral business skills also play an important role in being a good professional banker.
While an MA in Economics will equip you with the technical skills, also consider the possibility of an MBA degree as it will take you a long way.
All the best!
