It is completely okay to do BBA after your 12th. Now, you may face a little problem when it comes to accounts in the first year because your classmates from commerce backgrounds have prior experience, but don't worry. Putting in even a little extra effort, you can easily do well in your exams. So don't worry about it. Given you have a science background, your analytical skills will be far superior compared to anyone from the commerce background, so when it comes to stats and operations, etc., you will definitely score well.

Hi,
BBA is a very good degree as it gives you option to learn many skills, if you do it from top universities like Amity University, Lovely Professional University, etc. which provide very good professional environment. On the basis of B.A., you may get a government sector job but with extreme hard work.

Since you are giving us options to choose between B.Com (Hons) or BBA so I'm assuming that you are interested in both of the courses equally. Look, Delhi University is well reputed, recognised and everyone gives first priority to DU then comes IP University. ARSD of DU is one of the reputed colleges which is perfect in every aspect.

Doing BBA distance course or correspondence cannot be said to be equal to the regular one. But doing it from a good college with good scores and more importantly good internship gives you the edge over other correspondence students. IGNOU gives a good distance learning programs but recently Sikkim Manipal University is also giving options for many courses for distance learning.

Hi Karthik,
In this world of tough competition, B.Com from well known colleges will fetch good jobs like Shri Ram College of Commerce, Hans Raj College, Loyola College (LC, Chennai), Lovely Professional University. If we talk about from normal colleges the you may not get placement. Yes you can apply for government Jobs that too need too much of hard work. In case of BBA, mostly, you can get the job more effectively as compare to B.Com.
