Hii there, Being a student of LPU I will talk about Lovely Professional University (LPU) a private university located in Chaheru, Phagwara, Punjab, India. The university was established in 2005 by Lovely International Trust, under The Lovely Professional University ACT 2005 (Punjab ACT 25 of 2005), and started operation in 2006. The university has 45+ teaching and research departments at the campus located at Chaheru, Phagwara, Punjab, and more than 360+ Programme in various undergraduate, post-graduate, and doctorate degrees in various disciplines including engineering, agricultural science, legal studies, management, computer sciences, education, media studies, animation and multimedia, tourism, biotechnology, architecture, pharma sciences, commerce, liberal arts, and basic sciences

Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022 ranked LPU 10011200th. [26] In India, the National Institutional Ranking Framework ranked Lovely Professional University 81st overall, and 62nd among universities. It also ranked 37th in management, 23rd in pharmacy, 66th in engineering, 24th in law, and 12th in architecture ranking in India. PLACEMENTS :
In the session 2020-21, Cognizant and Capgemini have recognized LPU for generating the highest number of placement offers in North India separately with each of the two recruiters. Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions (RBEI) Bosch had recognized LPU for having the highest Number of Campus Selections in India with Bosch for the session 2019-2020. LPU becomes the favorite landing place for top recruiters like Cognizant Technology Solutions, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Amazon, Bosch Engineering, Tata Consultancy Services, Federal Bank, and many more! A B.Tech CSE student received the highest package of INR 64 LPA offered by Google. Besides this, in LPU placements 2022, Google and Amazon offered packages of INR 48LPA and INR 46.4 LPA, respectively.
