You have to continue your B.Sc. Hons. Zoology course. Leaving the B.Sc. Hons. Course in 2nd year can not be a wise decision. You can do the M.Sc. Biotechnology course after the completion of your graduation if interested through the JAM in IITs.

No, it is not necessary for M.Sc Biotechnology to have Mathematics at class 12th level for admission in IITs. The basic eligibility criteria for M.Sc. Biotechnology for Joint admission test ( JAM) is given below. Educational qualification : Bachelor degree in any Branch/Subject
Essential subjects at (10+2) level : No Restrictions
JAM entrance paper code : BT.
