As a resident of this area, I won't suggest you to opt for this college, and for this course it is not, as this college is only for the charging fees and giving you a degree of no use and the placements of this college is only good for IT branch in B.Tech only and for all other courses this college is of no means.

Fee structure for B.Tech in biotechnology:
Course fees for B.Tech Biotechnology will differ from one college to another. The first year course fee for B.Tech Biotechnology in Amity Institute of Biotechnology is Rs 1,77,000. The fee for the B.Sc Biotechnology course in Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University is Rs 65,000. The total fee for the B.Sc Biotechnology course in Amrita University will be Rs 2,76,000 (three years). Biology is not necessary to study biotechnology but it would be good if you take biology as a subject in plus 2 as prior knowledge of the subject is necessary to get good grades. the eligibility is just that you should have science stream with includes PCM . I hope it will help you!

Yes! You can apply for JNU CEEB. The eligibility criteria is Bachelors degree under 10+2+3/4/5 pattern of education with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade point average from any recognised university. All the best.
