For admissions in the college for biotechnology, you have to qualify the exam. Otherwise, you can take admissions in any low ranking private college in your state. Some top college for M.Sc. Biotech are:-
1. Indian Institute of Technology -bombay
2. Rajiv Gandhi Center for Biotechnology, Trivandrum
3. School of Life Sciences, University of Hyderabad
4. National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal

Yes!
It is a good option because you will have a chance to change your branch after the first year, based on your performance in the first year. Even if you are not able to change your branch, biotechnology is also a good stream in NIT, Warangal.

Yes, you have to give entrance exam for B.Sc. Biotechnology. You have to give JEE Mains/Amity JEE.

Hi, yes it is a good course. Any student who is contemplating pursuing a career in Biotechnology must be aware that this field is still developing in India. And the work is also lab work oriented. After a B.Tech degree, students can find jobs in pharmaceutical companies, research labs and institutions in India.

Yes, you are eligible and it is indeed a good choice. More than food technology, try for food biotechnology in PG.
Food biotechnology will channelise your interest for research.
There are many central universities offering such courses, Tezpur University is one of them.
