Courses in bio technology are offered mainly in two formats, eligibility of which are different from each other:
1) B.Sc.
2) B.Tech
B.Sc. In Biotechnology: Admission Process:
For admission to the course, eligible candidates are needed to qualify a relevant entrance examination, conducted at any of institute, state and national levels. Two subsequent rounds of group discussion and personal interview subsequently follow for assessment of candidates general aptitude for the course. Yes, you can do that but there are only certain universities which offer this condition. You need to explore more. You can check it out in DU and JNU.

There is no relaxation in age unless you are an SC/ST/ or OBC candidate for professional degree programs like B.Tech in biotechnology. Regards.

Hi Shweta,
It is best you check job portals for this information. As per qualification goes, Masters level is a must for a decent job. If you want RnD related jobs then you must have a Ph.D. Moreover, different countries have their specific process for work permit and immigration. So, check the immigration websites and relevant job portals.

Yes, you can go for Ph.D directly. As there is was a programme launched sometime before according to which for doing Ph.D, it is not mandatory to complete your Master's degree first. You can directly go for Ph.D just after your graduation. So, you can do Ph.D. after completing your B.Tech in biotechnology.
