How to get admission in Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) (Biotechnology):
The admissions to B.Tech Biotechnology is done either through a Common Entrance Test (CET) or merit-based direct admission. Merit list is based on the marks obtained in 10+2. Physics, mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with chemistry or biotechnology or biology or any technical vocational subjects as optional with a minimum of 50% marks taken together in physics, mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.

Biotechnology is a field of applied biology that involves the use of living organisms and bioprocesses in engineering, technology, medicine and other fields requiring bio products. For a career in biotechnology one must have both biology and mathematics, so it will be better if you opt for science with biology in class 11, for making a career.
