Taking your concern, I think you want to pursue your career in biotechnology. If so SVIMS would be a great choice. As per students review the biotechnology course in SVIMS is better than other life Science courses. In biotechnology the placement rate is quite higher than others. Beside this the faculty in biotechnology are also very good.

Talking about the life sciences courses offered by SVIMS are great to opt for. The above said two courses in UG are great to take but as per students review the B.Sc Biotechnology have a edge on the comparison to B.Sc Microbiology. The placements are also decent according to the official data. I'd consider chose any of these courses as per your interest rather than comparing the placement data.

There's no Entrance examination conducted for UG/PG Admissions in SVIMS. The students are selected on their merit basis. You can apply for the admission through official website. The eligibility for UG admission is 12th Pass with 50% marks and for PG the criteria is Graduation in a relevant field with an aggregate of 60% marks. Yes, you can get direct admission in Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology for B.Tech Biotechnology.
But you must have a 12th (senior secondary) pass certificate with a minimum 60% with your respective board or qualifying JEE Mains scorecard.
you can go to college with essential documents and get admission.
It will be 4-year academic program.

The Maharaja Ganga Singh University (MGSU) website itself doesn't have a dedicated placement section for B.Sc programs, including Biotechnology. There are no such official records till now, you can try contacting alumni.

The average salary for B.Tech Biotechnology at Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology is around 3.5 LPA.
You can get research internship and placement offers by many research companies like Clininvent Research Private Limited, Admerus Biosciences Private Limited and many more.
You can get High salary from many companies.
You can also apply abroad for getting placement offers.

The duration of this course is 4 years with 2 semesters per year. The number of seats in B.Tech offered at MIET Meerut is 180.
If you are interested in the research field then you can apply for the Biotechnology branch in Btech.
Otherwise, you can get a placement offer but compared to other branches like CSE and Electrical you will get less placement amount.
Biotechnology involves the integration of Natural Science and Engineering Science in order to achieve the application of organisms, and cells.
