No, it won't be a problem. You should have obtained at least 50% in the qualifying degree exam. Backlogs will not affect your enrollment for the Entrance examination. I got 6 backlogs in my previous semester (5th semester), and I think I will get 2 or 3 backlogs this semester also.

The average salary for B.Tech Biotechnology at Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology & Research is INR 4 lakh per year. This is based on the median salary reported by the university for the placements of 2022.

You can also confirm the salary from the alumnis and actually learn about their hardships and problems and can get guidance too if you may need it. They may have more updated and accurate information about the salary and the placements.

I hope this answers your question.

Usually students prefer food technology against biotechnology, but still it depends upon the students interest and knowledge towards any of the field that he is interested. So if we talk about the placement at KAU then it is very good in both the cases, as the students hustle for their goals, so the placement cell arrange the recruiters accordingly. As it has a good record for placement so the university always seek the better opportunity on behalf of their students.

So set your goal and do hard works in both theoretical and practical studies. So that you can find yourself in a better company as you want to be.

Thank You
