As a Biotechnology graduate, there are a good selection of subjects for B.ED for you.

You can choose Life Sciences, Chemistry, Enviornmenal Studies, Biology and many more.

Also, it depends upon the University you apply because every college or University has their available faculty so it is better to check out their wesites for more infromation.

Taking your concern, I think you want to pursue your career in biotechnology. If so SVIMS would be a great choice. As per students review the biotechnology course in SVIMS is better than other life Science courses. In biotechnology the placement rate is quite higher than others. Beside this the faculty in biotechnology are also very good.

Talking about the life sciences courses offered by SVIMS are great to opt for. The above said two courses in UG are great to take but as per students review the B.Sc Biotechnology have a edge on the comparison to B.Sc Microbiology. The placements are also decent according to the official data. I'd consider chose any of these courses  as per your interest rather than comparing the placement data.

The eligibility for UG admission is 12th Pass with 50% marks and for PG the criteria is Graduation in a relevant field with an aggregate of 60% marks.
