VIT BTech Biotechnology curriculum include subjects related to the specialisation field. The course curriculum include programme core, university core, electives, and bridge courses. Its course curriculum shall include semester-wise syllabus of the eight semesters. Some of the subjects included in the VIT BTech Biotechology curriculum are:
- Tissue Engineering
- Animal Biotechnology
- Nanobiotechnology
- Mass and Heat Transfer Operations

Admission to B.Tech. in Biotechnology at SRM IST Trichy is not done based on the scores obtained in any entrance exam. To be eligible for the course, the candidate must have passed class 12 in a relevant stream from a reputed board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

The last date to apply for UG courses at VIT Vellore for 2024-2025 was 31 MAY, including BSc. The application form for the B.Sc + M.Sc (Biotechnology) programme at VIT Vellore is available on the VIT website. Admission for 2025 session has not been started yet. Make sure the all documents are available at the time of the filling application form.
