You are eligible for B.Tech admission in 2025 at NSUT, DTU, and IIIT Bangalore, as they require a minimum of 60% aggregate in PCM, which you meet. However, IIIT Hyderabad and BIT Mesra require at least 75% aggregate in Class 12, so you are not eligible there. Admissions to these colleges are based on your JEE Main rank, and since you are a JEE dropper with 72.2% overall and over 60% in PCM, focus on applying through JAC Delhi counseling for NSUT, DTU, and IIIT Bangalore.

BIT Mesra is solid if you're into Geoinformatics. They've got an in-house Digital Innovation Lab, plus tie-ups with external orgs. In 2025, for example, ADROSONIC ran an internship focused on AI + digital mapping—super cool stuff. Placement-wise, PG students pulled in average packages of INR 10–11.5 LPA, though it might be a bit lower for niche courses like this. Still, the exposure and network you get. Totally worth it.

Yes, the institute which is called B.I.T, Mesra usually admits students who have done their Class 12th via The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) board to its B.Tech and other undergraduate courses. NIOS students, however, have to meet the same eligibility like normal board students. This qualification usually involves clearing Class 12 with the mandatory subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to pursue B.Tech) and satisfying the minimum percentage cut off (there is usually a 75 percent threshold in General/OBC/EWS or 65 percent SC/ST/PwD in PCM or aggregate or in the highest 20 percentile of all board, or presence in to

Birla Institute of Technology Mesra considers CAT score for admission to MBA programme. However, it is not compulsory for the aspirants to have a valid CAT score. Aspirants can also get admission through MAT, XAT or CMAT scores. Selected candidates have to further pass the group discussion and personal interview round for final selection.

Between JECRC (RTU) and BIT Mesra Jaipur, go for BIT Mesra Jaipur if you're serious about placements and academic quality. It has better brand value and industry exposure. JECRC is also decent, but BIT holds more weight if you're thinking long-term. Just check fees and hostel life too before final decision.
