In BA (Hons.) Business Management course BCU offers an option for placement year. This option allows students to spend a whole year with an employer, following the completion of the second year.
- If students choose the placement year, then they are required to find a suitable placement relevant to the chosen study field
- The fees applicable during the placement year is equivalent to 20% of the total full-time course for that particular year

Birmingham City University MSc Management and International Business course is of 1 year. This course has placement option too. This course is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). For admission to MSc Management and International Business BCU, a 2:2 degree is required. IELTS with an overall score of 6.0 is required.

Birmingham City University is not really considered a top university, but rather a solid and mid-tier institution of higher learning. It is because BCU is not a part of the Russell Group.
As per the QS Rankings 2027, Birmingham City University is ranked #1001 which is constant from last 3 years.

Birmingham City University is a good university but it does not rank well by major ranking bodies like QS World, Times Higher Education, because these prioritize heavy research output and academic citations.
BCU mainly focuses on practical, vocational teaching and employability rather than big scale scientific research.

The Birmingham University UG Tuition fee ranges between GBP 15,000 (INR 19.01L) and GBP 24,950 (INR 31.6L) for Indian students.
For PG courses, this ranges from GBP 16K and GBP 25K which is almost similar for the UG fee.
Sometimes, Indian students do not meet all the admission requirements of the UK university, in that case they can opt for the foundation courses which costs around GBP 15.8K (INR 20.0L).

BCU University UK offers scholarships to Indian students enrolled in the UG courses. The students are not required to apply separately for this scholarships. The scholarship amount is GBP 5,000 to self-funfing UG students. GBP 3,000 is applied to Year One and GBP 2,000 is applied to Year Two, as tuition fee discount.
