M.E Civil (with specialisation in Infrastructure Engineering and Management)
M.E Civil (with specialisation in Structural engineering. )

The definition of hard is very subjective and it will vary from person to person, something that is difficult for you, might not be difficult for other person and vice versa. Also you can not predict the difficulty of exam every year. Hence its better to focus on your preparation and give your best in the examination.

The eligibility criteria for ME admission at BITS Pilani is having a BE/B.Tech in any relevant stream for higher education with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in the qualifying degree examination. If you have scored 60% marks or above in engineering, then you are eligible for admission.

You have posed a very interesting query. Frankly speaking, one can appear for any subject in GATE if seeking admission in PG. It all depends on how much you know the topic. Even CS expert can appear for Biotech. But the questions will be all related to topics covered in graduation. Hence if you can score marks, then surely you can get admission.

Fortunately, the issue of domicile has not raised it's ugly head in PG courses in engineering. Yes, you can seek admission in BITS, based on your BE from Gujrat. Of course you have to follow the procedure required at BITS.
