The mode of the BITS HD exam application form is online. Candidates applying for the exam must pay the application fee online via netbanking/credit card/debit card. The BITS application fee can be checked below -

The BITS HD 2026 application form is expected to be released in the third week of February. The BITS HD 2026 exam dates will be updated on the official website. The mode of registration is online. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can submit the application form online at www.bitsadmission.com within the prescribed dates.

The criteria for an BITS HD M.E in Communication Engineering are as follows -
Candidate must have completed an integrated first degree of BITS in Electrical and Electronics/Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Engineering or its equivalent from a recognised university/institute.

Candidates can check the details of the BITS HD eligibility criteria on the official website of BITS Pilani or from the information brochure released by the conducting institute. The eligibility for each branch or discipline is different. Therefore, candidates must go through BITS HD eligibility before applying.

For BITS HD 2026 exam admissions, valid GATE scores of 2026, 2025, and 2024 will be accepted for the counselling/iterations. Candidates applying through GATE score, must check and provide their best scores in the BITS HD registration form. Such candiates are exempted from attempting the exam.

Yes, GATE scores are accepted for admission to BITS Pilani campuses. However, admission to the M.E in software systems will only be through the BITS HD exam. Candidates applying through GATE exam will have to provide their valid GATE scores for admission.

Yes, candidates are allowed to select atleast three exam centres at the time of filling out the application form, out of which they will be allotted to one of the centre. Candidates will be informed about the test centre allotment through BITS official website.

BITS Pilani, the conducting body of the BITS HD exam, will release the list of exam centres in the information brochure. The entrance test will be conducted in different cities across India. Candidates will have to provide at least three exam centre options per their preference, and they will be allotted to one of the centres, depending on the availability. The details of the BITS HD exam centre will be provided on the admit card.
