Birla Institute of Technical Science will release the BITS HD cutoff at the official website. The cutoff marks vary for various colleges and courses. There are various factors which determine the BITS HD cutoff. 

  • Number of candidates appearing in the exam. 

  • Number of seats available. 

  • Difficulty level of the exam. 

  • The previous year cutoff trends.

Yes, BITS HD cutoff varies as per the campuses and courses offered through the entrance exam. The seat matrix of all the colleges and courses available through BITS HD exam varies which also determines the cutoff. Candidates are advised to fill the choice preferences of colleges and courses carefully at the time of filling the application form.

Birla Institute of Technical Science will release the BITS HD cutoff after the conclusion of the counselling process. Applicants looking for admission to M.Tech courses offered by participating institutes will be able to check BITS HD cutoff at bitsadmission.com. Candidates must note that BITS HD cutoff will be released separately for all the courses. Applicants who score marks equal to or more than the BITS HD cutoff will be eligible to participate in the counselling process.

M.Sc Biotechnology programme is not available at BITS. While the eligibility criteria of M.E. Biotechnology of BITS is Any integrated First Degree (B.E/B, Tech) of BITS or its equivalent with adequate preparation in Biochemistry and Microbiology. So, from above B.Sc Biotechnology students are not eligible for ME (Biotechnology) of BITS.

First of all, BITS Pilani offers M.E, not M.Tech and the course goes by the name of M.E Microelectronics. Placements in any college are very dynamic and changes every year. It depends on the industry a lot. Still most of the times M.E Microelectronics has fantastic placements. You can expect to get a job in core companies like QUALCOMM, INTEL, TI, CYPRESS etc. The packages offered by these companies are very good and most of the times they prefer M.E students over B.E.
