It could be the best in some perspective like it is, with a strong reputation for its dedicated faculty, well-equipped labs, and a focus on research, making it a decent choice for a Master's in Botany.
You can consider it according to your destination like it suits you or not and in Kolkata you know now it I consider as a most congested. And even in placement it's not that good it has decent placement package so I don't say that is best, over this you can choose Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College Mumbai, it can be considered as best so choose accordingly.

Hey,
Maths is crucial subject when it came to pursuing B.Tech. Pursuing B.Tech without knowing fundamentals (taught in 11-12th standard) will be challenging.
And you may not eligible for entrance exam for BTech as it has criteria of minimum 40% in pcm in some state (like maharashtra).
But you can take admission through management quota. It may possible that some college provide you admission. You should contact or visit there.
