Hindustan Institute of Maritime Training offers B Tech in only one specialisation, i.e. Marine Engineering. However, it offers lateral B Tech in Marine Engineering with Lateral Entry as well. At HIMT College, B Tech in Marine Engineering is one of the most demanded and prominent course due to its high significance in Maritime knowledge and fieldwork. Therefore, B Tech in Maritime Engineering is the best specialisation in B Tech from HIMT.

In Btech, there are different courses such as B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering in Sri Padmavati Mahila Vishvavidyalay.
The total seats it offers is around 400 which is a decent number. iF one wants to pursue B.Tech, one can easily get admission here. It is a good University .

The separate placement data for BTech has not been released. However, the overall placement details are out. Over 150 campuses were organised for the 2023 passing out batch. Keeping the current scanerio in mind, B.Tech CSE is giving Better placements in all universities. Be it Sri Padmavati Mahila Vishvavidyalay or any other. This is because of the changing and increasing demand in this particular field. Although B.Tech ECE students still get great placements. But comparatively Computer Science Engineering is more preferred and lands the student at a better place with better placement.
