The university conducts its own test for B.Tech and to be eligible for the same you need to have 45% aggregate in your 12th Board Exams. The university also accepts JEE Main exam scores so you can apply through that also. So all in all either you need to clear a National/State level exam and if you have not done that you enter the college with its own entrance exam.

If you want to pursue B.Tech at IKGPTU College then for admission candidate must have passed 10+2 in the Science stream with a minimum score of 50% marks. Then the other selection is based on JEE Mains so you need to come in a certain range. There is no specific cutoff for Jee Mains. If you are interested in this college then you can contact the college helpline number or else might check the college's original website.

The highest package goes up to 12LPA for B.Tech students which is pretty decent and the average package can be around 5LPA. Many companies come to the college for placement which includes companies like HDFC, TCS etc. and as claimed by the college, it has a placement rate of 95% so even if you are not too good at studies and doesn't hold the top rank in your batch the chances of you getting placed are still pretty high.
