For admission to B.Tech at International Maritime Institute the candidate must have passed 10+2 with minimum 60% marks in PCM taken together. Candidates should have a minimum of 50% marks in English. Admissions to the B.Tech. programme at International Maritime Institute are based on merit in the IMU CET (Common Entrance Test) followed by counseling.

Both Yogi Vemana University and Royalaseema University offer good options for pursuing B.Tech. Yogi Vemana University offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) courses in six specializations.
