To join the B Tech programme at Kalasalingam University, you need to have passed your HSC from a recognised board with at least 50%. Your 10+2 should have subjects like Mathematics/Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.

I would say, focus on JEE Advanced. If you have scored 97.1 percentile, then you have a real chance of being into IITs if you prepare well and strategically. There is a big difference between IITs and NITs. Even though top NITs are comparable to some of the IITs but still IIT is at different level. Not saying NITs are bad, some are really decent and reputable. Aim for that.
