It is necessary that each aspirant fulfil the course-specific eligibility requirements. Thus, the aspirants who have completed Class 12 with at least 55% aggregate (50% aggregate for reserved category) in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Computer Science are eligible to apply for a BTech course in HBTU. Moreover, for BTech Lateral Entry, aspirants need to pass CUET exam and should have completed a three-year Engineering Diploma with a minimum of 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST).

Yes, NIT Andhra Pradesh is good for the BTech programme. NIT Andhra Pradesh offers a BTech degree in eight specialisations. Admission to a four-year duration course is done on the basis of JEE Main. The basic eligibility to apply to the BTech programme is a minimum of 75% aggregate in Class 12. Admissions are based on the All-India Rank obtained at JEE (Mains) examination through JoSAA/CSAB counselling procedure. The BTech programme is offered in 8 engineering branches. At Goel Group of Institutions, a BTech course is offered in affiliation with AKTU. Those who are willing to take admission to this course must pass Class 12 with a minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Maths and one optional subject as Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subjects as per the basic eligibility criteria. Admission to BTech at Goel Group of Institutions is entirely entrance-based. Candidates are selected based on their scores obtained in the JEE Main entrance exam, followed by UPCET Counselling, which was earlier known as UPSEE.

Computer Science Engineering at Tezpur University is one of the most opted domains by students. However, the placement records of BTech in Tezpur University are less compared to other state and central universities. But having said that, Tezpur University BTech course and especially the CSE discipline is far better than other disciplines provided under the BTech course through Tezpur University. Candidates willing to take admission in BTech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) must take the JEE-Main exam. They should secure a good rank to become eligible for the counselling process at Tezpur University.

COEP Technological University (Formerly known as COEP) mainly intake admission through MHT-CET. The eligibility criteria laid down by MHT-CET for BTech is that the candidate should have passed class 12 or SSC or Diploma in Engineering with a minimum of 45% aggregate.
COEP also inducts students through JEE-Main, for which additionally 25% of seats are reserved for All India Candidates (apart from Maharashtra domicile candidates), and there is no minimum percentage in class 12 required to take the JEE-Main entrance exam.
