Students may choose to apply for Rungta College, Bhilai of Engineering and Technology via their Junior Entrance Exam (JEE) score. The JEE scores would be considered alongside the applicants' CGPET scores. On the other hand, candidates also have the option to apply through the merit basis. Considering the last round 2024 JEE Main cut-off, BTech in Computer Engineering at MIT AOE Pune was the most competitive specialisation. The last-round closing ranks for all BTech specialisations ranged between 64,566 and 2,05,585 for the General AI category students.
The first-round cut-off rank for BTech in Computer Engineering for the said category was 56,403 in 2024. The closing rank for the general AI quota candidates seeking admission to the course was 64,566. The closing cut-off for the same stood at 52,549 in 2023.
