For MBA, at this college, a student must have at least 45% marks in 10+2 standard from an recognised board. and should have a valid score in entrance exams like ATMA UG or MH-CET UG. As of 2023 the cutoff of MBA at DY Patil University of general category was between 87 to 89 %, for Sc 82 to 84%, and for OBC category 85 to 87% approximately . Apeejay School of Management (ASM) accepts the following entrance exam scores for admission to the MBA program:
- CAT (Common Admission Test)
- XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test)
- MAT (Management Aptitude Test)
- CMAT (Common Management Admission Test)
- ATMA (AIMS Test for Management Admissions)
- GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test)

To be eligible for the MBA program, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate. SC/ST candidates receive a 5% relaxation in eligibility criteria. This criterion has been followed in ADTU for MBA for a long time.
