As we talk about Calcutta University, the university has 16 Halls & Hostels for boys and girls under the University of Calcutta providing accommodation to about 1550 students studying in the University Colleges of Arts, Commerce, Science, Technology and Law and also the Undergraduate students of the colleges as well as men research scholars/fellows of the University. Jadavpur University Presidency University, Calcutta University, Scottish Church College, Bethune College, Lady Brabourne College, Maulana Azad College are a few that provide hostels at a nominal charge.

Hello dear student, The University of Calcutta is the oldest major public research university in India, located in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Considered one of best state research university all over India and every year CU topped among India's best universities. The Calcutta University releases merit list every year for admission process. The merit is used to be very high and rest all varies according to the the candidate that to which category he or she is belonging. Keep studying- go for shiksha.

Firstly you have to satisfy minimum eligibility criteria that is 50% marks in qualifying exam and 55%(45% for SC/ST) marks in BSc or qualifying degree.
Then cutoff will depend on factors like number of candidates appeared in exam and difficulty level of exam.

Lady Brabourne College does not take any entrance exam for admission in M.Sc. Zoology for non-Calcutta University graduates. To get admission for M.Sc. Zoology, you are only required to have B.Sc. Degree from recognised university/college.

Yes, you will be eligible, don't worry. The common M.Sc. Eligibility is a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from a recognised university. Just like M.Sc. in India, the course duration of M.Sc. Abroad is of 2 years, but many colleges also offer a 1 year master degree course in different Masters specializations.
