In Faculty of Law, Calcutta University, 95 BA LLB and 4,201 PG (2-year) students were placed during 2022 placements. The median package offered to BA LLB and PG (2-year) students during Faculty of Law, University of Calcutta placements 2022 was 7.84 Lacs per annum and 9.20 Lacs per annum, respectively. 

The college had 100% placement records for the past few years. The average package ranged between 14-18 Lacs per annum by national law firms and 46-48 Lacs per annum by international law firms. The top recruiting companies are Trilegal, Khaitan & Co., SAM, CAM and other law firms.

The eligibility criteria for the Faculty of Law at Calcutta University, apart from national-level entrance exams, include the following:
Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in the best four subjects at the 10+2 level from a board recognized by the University of Calcutta. For SC/ST/persons with disabilities (disability 40% or more), a minimum of 40% marks in the best four subjects is required, excluding environmental studies of WBCHSE.
