In recent years, the cutoff percentage for the B.A. LL.B. programme has been around 70%. This means that only applicants who scored 70% or higher in the entrance exam are considered for admission.

Calcutta University is higher than that of the LL.M. program. In 2022, 95 out of 119 UG (5-year) students were placed, while the placement rate for PG (2-year) students is not officially released. However, the NIRF report 2023 includes the overall placement data for PG (2-year) courses, which is 70%.

1. JIS University.
2. Aliah University-Newtown Campus.
3. Aliah University-Park Circus Campus.

The above mentioned colleges are some of the finest colleges for pursuing your higher studies for BBA and MBA in Kolkata.
However the Calcutta University is not that bad. The students need to work hard for scoring good marks in Calcutta University.

Both the unvierities are best in their on ways . Both universites are best in certificate . This depends on the students and their interest amd their cutoff. By checking your cutoff you can select your university. International school of design contains 10 courses in certifcate and the eligibility is CBSE 10th, WBBSE, ICSE. Whereas the calcutta university offers 20 courses in certificate and the eligibility is CBSE 10TH, WBBSE, ICSE and the tution fees is 1.5k. Compare to the insd calcutta as the less tution fees. The tution fees for INSD is 55.5k
