Hi Nav,
It will depend on the university requirement, and admissions are not done on basis of only IELTS score, you must have more than 55% to be eligible to study in Canada.

Hi,
If you meet admission requirements there is no reason you won't get a visa. First you decide what to study and also check university websites for admission requirements.

Every subject should be cleared with required percentage to qualify to study in Canada. You need to have a pass certificate to get admissions anywhere.

To be eligible for a scholarship, you would need to score high marks in the qualifying examinations (Entrance exam) and have a strong undergraduate degree (High CGPA). Many institutes have special arrangements for scholarships awarded to International students. You should check with your target institute for details regarding scholarships and its pre-requisites.

Hi Gurjot, choosing a specific course will not grant you a visa. To get the visa you must know what you want to study and why. If you have no idea about your plans and interests you won't be accepted by any university nor will you get the visa. First see which all subjects you are good at, clearly from your grades you are better off with Arts and Humanities so go with subjects in this field, this is what I would suggest. Rest will depend on what you like.

There are colleges which accept a score of 6.5 in IELTS, however there are other colleges which require a minimum of 7 in the IELTS exam. Please refer to the link provided below for a list of universities for under graduate field of study and requirements to gain admission into an institute in Canada:
